While the ambiance is generally pleasant, some guests have commented on the radio quality, noting it can be distorted. Such minor issues shouldn't deter visits, as the vibrant atmosphere maintains its appeal. Occasionally, certain seating areas can experience crowding during peak lunch hours, particularly on Saturdays, leading to longer wait times. Additionally, the terrace is accessible only via stairs, which may be a downside for those needing wheelchair access. However, the attentive staff do a great job of mitigating any discomfort caused by these elements.
Very nice experience. I got the fish and chips, and it was perfectly made and full of flavor. I had to ask if the tartar sauce was homemade because it was the best I ever had. Yes, it's homemade. The staff was attentive to my needs, while at the same time respectful of my privacy. The place is clean, despite using very old antique furniture. When I was there it was nice and quiet.
The staff are attentive to your needs the food was excellent we had the Palace breakfast if you take an item off your plate you can replace it with another one thus place is one of the best breakfasts I have had in Nuneaton for a while
We have used the Palace several times now and absolutely love the place. The food is superb, the staff are all lovely and the whole place is just so welcoming. On our last visit I went for the Palace breakfast and it was enormous! (But also delicious!) Whether you are in need of a meal or just a cup of tea and a slice of home made incredibly tasty cake, the Palace is definitely the place to go!
We had a great meal here on Sunday. Food was fresh and delicious, portions was really good. Amazing staff who made us feel so welcome, prices very reasonable. Will definitely be going back
Lovely place to eat, but I didn't go to the terrace this time but accessible via stairs. Nice and spacious, the tables are spaced apart, not all cramped together. As for the food, it's worth the money, I had a BLT, lots of bacon, and thick crusty bread. Served with a small side salad and salted crisps. My partner had the chilli con carne jacket potato. This was a nice big potato cooked well and fluffy inside. We will definitely be coming back here for food another time. The ONLY thing I will criticise is the radio, which was very distorted and not a good signal. However, it's a very minor thing, so don't let it put you off coming here. We happened to have sat right under the speaker.
Dropped in here with my 8 year old son today for a cuppa and for him to have a mid- bike ride plate of chips. Tea and chips were spot on but service was impeccable. Staff are LOVELY. So polite, welcoming, friendly and offered tap water to my son without us even asking, as he didn't want a fizzy drink. Yes I can't lie the decor is quite tired but everything is immaculate, clean and presented as best as it can but the food and definitely the staff make up for it and more. Will be back!
Excellent meal in The Palace, been a long time since we've had a high quality Turkish establishment in Nuneaton. The Chef is a genuine Award Winning Chef. Faruk Yavuse has served dignitaries throughout the UK and the Mediterranean and the quality if his skills come through in his dishes. Looking forward to returning very soon!!
